- I'm a writer, t-shirt designer, photographer, avid reader, movie buff and "old" mom to my 7 year old daughter who I had at 44. My husband is a pilot, who supports me faithfully in my lapband journey. I couldn't do it without them and my darling Bichon Frise, Buster. I worked for almost two years to get my lapband approved and the surgery behind me. This blog is for everyone out there who has questions about the process or the surgery.
